What Is Thesis?
Thesis is Union Square's financial analysis platform powered by AI agents. It helps you research companies, analyze SEC filings, review financial statements, and build investment theses — all backed by real data and primary sources.
Set Up Your Workspace
Navigate to the Thesis section from your Union Square dashboard. Your workspace is where you'll organize your research by company, sector, or investment theme.
- Open Thesis from the main navigation
- Create a new workspace or select an existing one
- Add the companies or tickers you want to research
Run Your First Agent
Thesis agents are specialized AI workflows that gather and analyze financial data on your behalf. Select a company and choose the type of analysis you want to run.
- Financial Overview — summarizes income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow
- SEC Filing Analysis — reads and extracts insights from 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K filings
- Competitive Landscape — maps competitors and compares key metrics
- Investment Thesis — synthesizes data into a structured bull/bear case
Review and Export
Once an agent completes its analysis, you'll see a structured report with citations to the underlying data sources. Every claim is linked back to the SEC filing, financial statement, or data point it was derived from.
You can export reports as PDF or share them with your team directly from the Thesis interface.
